Project Description

This interdisciplinary project, “Smart Tracking: A Study on the Menstrual Cycle and ADHD,” explores the connection between the menstrual cycle and mental health symptoms in women with ADHD. Using smartwatch data combined with daily symptom tracking, the study aims to provide groundbreaking insights into the cyclic nature of ADHD and contribute to sex-specific medicine.

Internship Tasks

Primary Tasks (in Dutch):

  • Contacting participants
  • Conducting ADHD diagnostic screening
  • Collecting data

Optional:

  • Contribute to study setup and design

  • Develop insights into the research process, from study design to participant management
  • Work in a collaborative and supportive environment alongside Dr. Groenman (and a recent MBCS graduate)

Requirements

  • Fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
  • Interest in ADHD, mental health, or sex-specific medicine
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
