Structural disconnectome in semantic processing in post-stroke aphasia
Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences Leipzig
In this project, the goal is to investigate the white matter structures linked to intact semantic processing. In a dataset of patients with chronic post-stroke aphasia who performed a semantic language task, we want to use disconnectome maps to explore which structural disruptions are linked to deficits in semantic processing. This is a project in the research group Cognition & Plasticity at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences Leipzig in collaboration with the University Hospital Leipzig and is supervised by Dr. Sandra Martin (MPI CBS).
