The team of the AFFIRM Relationships is currently recruiting Master’s-level interns with a background in Medicine or (Cognitive) Neuroscience.
This internship offers a great opportunity to work in a project studying well-being in trans- and gender-diverse (TGD) people and to get hands-on experience working on a longitudinal cohort study.
📃 The project:
In the AFFIRM Relationships project, we focus on social health and well-being in trans- and gender-diverse (TGD) people who start gender-affirming care (i.e., hormones, voice training or a mastectomy). For more information, you can also check our website: www.AFFIRMRelationships.com .
🧑🏫 Requirements:
• Master’s student in Medicine, (Cognitive) Neuroscience, Epidemiology, or Medical Humanities
• Available for a minimum of 5 months, starting June 2026 or later in 2026
• Preference: Fluent in Dutch
💡What will you do?
Interns play an active role in the AFFIRM Relationships team, and their tasks include:
• Contacting and including study participants
• Scheduling study visits
• Data collection during study visits
Additionally, there is ample opportunity to write your own Master’s thesis within the scope of our project.
