Developing and validating Bayesian measurement models of recognition memory
Website Mathematical Cognitive Neuroscience Lab
As part of their MBCS Research Project 1 or 2, we are looking for a student to develop and validate Bayesian measurement models of recognition memory. The project involves implementation of cognitive models in Stan (or similar probabilistic programming language). The models could be validated on behavioural data that the student could help collect (depending on the student’s preferences). Potentially, the student could work on adding these models to an existing R package.
One following programming languages could be used for this work: R, Python, MATLAB, or Julia.
The student would work with two people, Philipp Musfeld (supervisor) and Michael D. Nunez (examiner and internal grader).
